F 100T PEDOT:PSS (CAS number 155090-83-8), an aqueous stabilized blue dispersion with improved stability in harsh environment, is designed for conductive formulations in touch panels, liquid crystal display and writing boards. The aqueous dispersion of F 100T PEDOT:PSS can be readily deposited onto various substrates by means of spin-coating, spray-coating, slot-die coating or dip-coating.

F 100T PEDOT:PSS offers high conductivity and great sensitivity, and is ideal for touch screen displays, offering great conductivity when F 100T PEDOT:PSS solution is treated with polar solvent, i.e. DMSO before deposition. PEDOT:PSS films enable touch sensitivity and act as transparent electrodes for driving OLEDs or liquid crystal displays.

While most of the indium tin oxide (ITO) films increase in resistance after about 5 bending cycles, F 100T PEDOT:PSS can hold its resistance up to 10,000 bending cycles, even in harsh environmental conditions.

For the deposition of thin films of PEDOT:PSS on a freshly prepared surface, we recommend using a vacuum-free spin coater and following this five-step process:

PEDOT synthesis involves the oxidative chemical or electrochemical polymerization of EDOT monomer. The choice of counterions and polymerization method significantly affects the conductivity, work function, and stability of the resulting PEDOT polymer.
